What this is, who runs it, and why it exists.
Lunch League Calendar Tool is a small site for one recreational lunchtime hockey league. It manages who is playing in each game, lets players and captains send each other news, puts faces to names, and — where it started — puts the schedule on your own calendar.
This site is used to manage who is playing in each game, invite substitutes, and manage game notifications for captains and players.
This site also contains functionality for players to send updates to individual players, their team, captains, or the league, and invite players to events like drop-in games.
Profile photos are used so that players can better remember names and faces.
Lunch League publishes each team’s schedule as a calendar feed and as an HTML table, which are accurate and helpful. This tool is designed to add more features including:

It is a personal, non-commercial project by Luke Johnson. There is no company behind it, nothing is sold, and there is no advertising and no analytics. Questions, problems, or a request to be removed: luke@sweettech.ai.
None. This is an independent tool that reads schedules Lunch League already publishes openly. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the league, and it never asks for a league password or any other credential.
api.lunchleague.date. It is a personal, non-commercial tool for one
amateur recreational hockey league. It carries no advertising and no third-party trackers.
It does host user-generated content, and the shape of it is narrow.
People who play in that league, reached by a link in an email this site already sends them, may
upload one photograph of themselves and write short posts — to their own
team, their division, named team-mates, or publicly. Uploads are images only, one per person,
size-limited and re-encoded in the browser before they are sent. There is no file
sharing, no attachments and no anonymous posting — every post carries the name of
the person who wrote it, and a post to named people reaches only people already on a league
roster. Pages that name a person are served noindex. Reports, and requests to be
removed, go to a person at the address below and are actioned by hand.
It asks for no league password and no credential from any other service.
